The collection app is designed to be straightforward for nontechnical users, supporting both self-guided and MARA-assisted workflows. Custodians can follow the guided steps themselves or work with MARA during a scheduled session, with help available when they need it.

The matter sets the scope. Choose a full collection for a broader supported dataset, or a targeted collection whose delivered dataset is limited to selected supported categories, such as calls, messages, and contacts.
